The mission and objectives of ECOPPAM
Work for an Africa with inclusive social and employment policies.
Advocate against brain drain through forced migration and for safer and more legal means for migration from African countries to the rest of the world.
Advocate for the use of European funds and other aid to improve the development model that offers chances of success to young people in African countries and support the objectives of ECOPPAM.
Advocate for the strengthening of civil society, especially for our members.
The Means
Building cooperation between social organisations in Africa and Europe.
Working in cooperation with Ministries, International Organisations, Social Partners and civil society actors.
Migrants of African origin active in social organisations in Europe and development actors in Africa play an important role to bridge experiences in Africa and Europe.
The actions
Learning exchanges between social actors in Africa and Europe to build and strengthen social protection systems and prevent forced migration in line with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Social Protection Floor Recommendation.
Concrete implementation of sustainable social protection projects stemming from the strategic axes of ECOPPAM’s plan to fight inequalities and social exclusions and to promote youth integration and decent employment.
