On January 21, 2024, a virtual meeting took place between ECOPPAM International, the Euro-African Platform on Poverty and Migration, and OMEV, the Moroccan Observatory on Extremism and Violence. Both organizations expressed their commitment to collaborate in the areas of migration, social protection, and youth financing.

ECOPPAM International is a non-governmental organization that aims to promote sustainable development, solidarity, and cooperation between Europe and Africa. It is particularly focused on the issue of migration and finding ways to create economic and social opportunities for the youth in both regions.

OMEV is a research and analysis center dedicated to studying extremism and violence in all their forms. It provides solutions to prevent and combat these phenomena, especially in the areas of youth policy and social protection.

Both organizations identified common goals and converging synergies during the meeting. They decided to strengthen their collaboration and formalize their mutual commitment. Additionally, they plan to organize a meeting in Morocco on the theme of youth financing and ECOPPAM, with the aim of raising awareness among African and European institutions about the importance of supporting their projects.
