ECOPPAM First General Assembly

3 months after its international conference, ECOPPAM held its first general meeting (19/02/2021) as part of the process of formalizing its activities.

After a short presentation from each member country, analysing the progress of their work at national level, ECOPPAM members unanimously approved the Statutes for ECOPPAM-International and agreed the members for its first Board of Directors, coming form eight African countries and three European countries.

All founding members were present at this virtual meeting with the exception of Chad, who had internet connection issues. It should also be noted, the participation of some African ministers, an ILO expert and GIZ observers. All 44 attendees were online for this event that traced the first steps to formalizing ECOPPAM. The whole ECOPPAM team would like to thank everyone who supported the project from near or far, on this amazing adventure that comes true today.
