ECOPPAM IS WELL BORN – Photo from the members meeting in Cotonou

The members of ECOPPAM met in person and online in Cotonou today. “ECOPPAM is well born” was the message from the representative of the Benin organisation of people with disabilities. The members agreed a provisional workplan and road map for ECOPPAM for 2021. A General Assembly was agreed for February to give formal recognition to ECOPPAM, elect a Board of Directors and give strategic direction for ECOPPAM. The key areas of activities for ECOPPAM were agreed under the five following headings:

• Giving ECOPPAM legal personality and creating the operating structures for ECOPPAM

• Getting to know the work and priorities of ECOPPAM members

• Developing ECOPPAM’s policy and exchange work

• Developing ECOPPAM’s Communication work

• Developing ECOPPAM’s resources
