Official Launch of ECOPPAM

On 17 November 2020, in Cotonou Madame Véronique Tognifode MEWANOU, Minister of Social Affairs formally launched ECOPPAM – International. She wished us luck in establishing a dynamic partnership to address poverty and assured us of the support of her Ministry for our work.

The Minister was joined on the opening panel by the Minister for Culture and Tourism, Mr Michel ABIMBOLA, the Head of Cooperation from the German Embassy, Ms Birgit JOUSSEN and the Representative of UNDP, Mr Adama Bocar SOKO.

The distinguish guests and participants were welcomed by Madam, Carmen GABA, President of the Benin Platform of Sustainable Development NGOs.

Mr Alias ONYADON, Coordinator of ECOPPAM International, thanked the host organisations and spoke of his hopes that the bringing together of diverse partners from International Organisations, National Ministries and Civil Society can result in making progress in the fight against poverty and the creation of comprehensive social protection systems.
